An eternal optimist, Pat Fischer sees hope for Cincinnati and its people. In his job as an attorney with the local law firm of Keating, Muething & Klekamp, Pat Fischer is constantly reminded of the untapped potential Cincinnati has when he looks out his office window and sees the barren space between Cincinnati's two pro-sports stadiums. For about a decade, Hamilton County and the City of Cincinnati have talked about developing this area known as "The Banks". The excuses for why the project is still in limbo are irrelevant. Action, not words, is what the people of Cincinnati demand and deserve. As a City Councilman, Pat Fischer will work to bring everyone to the table and get the development started and finished as soon as possible. The Banks will be a shining example of growth and urban renewal in Cincinnati. May the hope that it represents be contagious and spread through downtown, into Over-the-Rhine, and up the hills to all the City's neighborhoods. On City Council, Pat Fischer will serve proudly as the messenger of hope.

As the President of Pleasant Ridge Community Council:
Pat Fischer had hope for his neighborhood and its local economy. In spite of the negativity surrounding business prospects for the future in the urban neighborhoods of Cincinnati, Fischer took action to make improvements where he could. Cincinnati needs a leader that is action oriented and focused on results. It needs Pat Fischer.
